These are speeches given by each company representative to tell you about the positions they are hiring for and the benefits of working for their organization.

Many of the companies will review your resume before the job fair begins.
If your resume piques the interest of a company representative they want you to introduce yourself to them at their booth.
Networking
Today this remains the primary means of obtaining a job.
You will be networking with the company representatives at the job fair.

You spoke before the sponsoring companies gave their two minute pitch to the group.
You stated that this would be like no other job search experience we had ever encountered and that we should keep an open mind and if a company had requested to speak to us we should make that company the last one we talk to.

This was the first time that I've had the opportunity to attend a Premiere Job Fair. Everything was very well organized/presented and moved along at a great pace.
I enjoyed speaking with several prospective employers who were all forthcoming with information about their companies.
It just doesn't compare to trying to learn about a company via the internet.
